The Aristarchus Crater

The LROC ( Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter Camera ) acquired this amazing sequence of panoramic images of the West wall of the moon's Aristarchus Crater on November 10, 2011 and published by NASA on Christmas Day, December 25, 2011, where the the Aristarchus plateau is one of the most geologically diverse and, hence, interesting locations on the moon.
